Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Examine, diagnose, and treat patients in IPD as per hospital protocols.
- Emergency Management: Provide immediate medical care in emergency cases and stabilize patients.
- Clinical Assessment: Conduct detailed medical history taking, physical examinations, and clinical evaluations.
- Treatment & Prescriptions: Prescribe medicines, therapies, and investigations according to clinical guidelines.
- Coordination with Consultants: Assist consultants during patient rounds and follow treatment plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, discharge summaries, and medical reports.
- Monitoring Patients: Monitor admitted patients and update consultants about any clinical changes.
- Investigations: Order and interpret laboratory tests, radiology reports, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Patient Counseling: Explain diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive measures to patients and relatives.
- Hospital Protocol Compliance: Follow NABH standards, infection control policies, and hospital guidelines.
Qualifications
- MBBS/ BAMS from a recognized medical college
- Valid State Medical Council Registration
Experience
- 0–3 years of clinical experience in hospital settings (preferred).
Skills Required
- Good clinical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and patient safety
