Key Responsibilities:
- Operate conventional lathe machines for machining and repair work.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and specifications.
- Perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, and related machining operations.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintain machine accuracy and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and report any equipment issues.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- ITI/Diploma in Turner, Machinist, or a related technical trade.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating lathe machines in a workshop or industrial environment.
- Good knowledge of machining practices and measuring instruments.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
