Job Summary
Bhumi Green Energy Envirocare LLP is seeking a hardworking and safety-conscious Welder Assistant to support welding, fabrication, and maintenance activities at its waste management and biomining facilities. The role involves assisting welders in repairing and fabricating plant equipment, conveyors, trommels, structural steel, hoppers, pipelines, machinery, and other mechanical components to ensure smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist welders in fabrication, welding, gas cutting, grinding, and repair of plant machinery and structures.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, measuring, marking, and aligning workpieces before welding.
- Handle and transport steel plates, pipes, structural members, and fabrication materials safely.
- Assist in maintenance and repair of conveyors, trommels, shredders, screens, hoppers, platforms, chutes, and supporting structures.
- Operate hand tools, grinders, drilling machines, cutting machines, and other fabrication equipment under supervision.
- Hold, clamp, and position components during welding and assembly operations.
- Clean welded joints by removing slag, burrs, and excess welding material.
- Assist in installation, dismantling, and alignment of mechanical equipment and fabricated structures.
- Maintain welding tools, machines, gas cylinders, cables, and consumables in good working condition.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and assist during plant shutdown and emergency breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure proper housekeeping of fabrication and maintenance work areas.
- Strictly follow company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum 10th Pass.
- ITI (Welder/Fitter) will be preferred.
- Welding certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in fabrication, industrial maintenance, construction, or heavy engineering projects.
- Freshers with ITI qualifications may also apply.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Arc Welding, Gas Cutting, Grinding, and Fabrication.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and measurements.
- Knowledge of workshop safety practices and PPE requirements.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Team player with willingness to learn and work under supervision.
Working Conditions
- Waste Processing Plant, Biomining Project, Compost Plant, or Industrial Workshop.
- Exposure to dust, heat, noise, welding sparks, and outdoor working conditions.
- May be required to work in shifts, overtime, or during emergency maintenance activities.

- Compliance with safety procedures and zero unsafe practices.
- Proper maintenance and handling of welding tools and equipment.
- Quality of assistance provided during fabrication and repair jobs.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
