We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and driven Interior Designer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating client requirements into functional, aesthetically beautiful spatial designs. You will handle projects from initial concept and 3D visualization through to working drawings and material selection.
The ideal candidate possesses strong spatial design skills, a solid understanding of materials, and the technical expertise required to deliver flawless execution drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept Development: Create innovative design concepts, space plans, layout options, and mood boards tailored to client briefs.
- 3D Visualization & Drafting: Develop high-quality 3D renders and precise 2D working drawings (electrical, plumbing, tiling, and carpentry details).
- Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings to understand their requirements, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback.
- Material & Finishes Selection: Source and select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and decor elements within project budgets.
- Site Coordination: Visit project sites periodically to ensure work is progressing in alignment with the approved design drawings and specifications.
- Vendor & Contractor Alignment: Coordinate with vendors, carpenters, and site supervisors to clarify design details and resolve on-site queries.
- Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional experience working in residential or commercial interior design.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp (knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Revit is a major plus).
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of modular furniture, woodwork detailing, material properties, and basic services (MEP).
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to confidently present ideas to clients and coordinate with site teams.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing actual project designs, 3D renders, and working drawings is mandatory
