Job Description:
A CBSE All Subjects Teacher is responsible for teaching multiple core subjects to primary or middle school students following the Central Board of Secondary Education curriculum.
Job Summary
- Curriculum: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
- Target Classes: Typically Primary (Grades 1–5) or Middle School (Grades 6–8).
- Core Subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and Hindi/Regional Language.
Key Responsibilities
- Lesson Planning: Create daily lesson plans aligned with CBSE guidelines.
- Classroom Teaching: Deliver engaging lessons using interactive and audiovisual tools.
- Student Assessment: Design worksheets, conduct weekly tests, and evaluate term exams.
- NCERT Alignment: Ensure all teaching modules strictly follow NCERT textbooks.
- Parent Communication: Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to discuss academic progress.
- Class Management: Maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Extracurricular Support: Organize and participate in school events, assemblies, and competitions.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/B.Sc/B.Com) matching core subjects.
- Professional Degree: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is mandatory.
- Eligibility Test: CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) or State TET certification preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
Technical & Soft Skills
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and smartboards.
- Patience: Ability to manage and nurture young learners of diverse abilities.
- Time Management: Capacity to balance grading, teaching, and administrative duties.
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience teaching to Higher Secondary students.
- Familiarity with CBSE or State Board curriculum guidelines and board exam preparation.
