Job Summary:
We are looking for a BOQ & Estimator to join our Architecture and Interior Design team. The candidate will prepare BOQs, estimate project costs, and support residential project planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for residential architecture and interior projects.
- Calculate material quantities from drawings and designs.
- Estimate project costs for materials, labor, and services.
- Review drawings and suggest cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, vendors, and contractors for pricing.
- Prepare cost breakdowns for civil, carpentry, interiors, MEP, and finishing works.
- Monitor project budgets and track cost changes.
- Support tender preparation and compare vendor quotations.
- Update BOQs based on design or site changes.
- Maintain project cost records and BOQ data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience in BOQ preparation and cost estimation for residential projects.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and interior works.
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- MS Excel (cost sheets and formulas)
- Estimation software (preferred)
- Ability to read architectural and interior drawings.
- Good analytical and calculation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in residential interior fit-out or turnkey projects.
- Knowledge of local material rates, vendors, and suppliers.
- Understanding of site execution and construction processes.
