Job Title: SAP ABAP Lead

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Lead with 7–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP technical development. The candidate will be responsible for leading ABAP development projects, designing technical solutions, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end SAP ABAP development activities across projects and support engagements
Design, develop, and enhance Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW objects)
Develop and support ALV Reports, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms, BAPIs, BDC, IDocs, RFCs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements
Work closely with functional consultants (FICO, MM, SD, PP, HCM) to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions
Perform code reviews, debugging, optimization, and ensure adherence to SAP development best practices
Lead integration development between SAP and third-party applications
Prepare technical design documents, functional specifications, and development standards
Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT
Mentor and guide junior ABAP developers and manage technical deliverables
Participate in system upgrades, migration projects, and performance tuning activities
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in Core ABAP programming with hands-on experience in complex developments
Extensive experience in RICEFW development objects
Strong knowledge of Data Dictionary, Object-Oriented ABAP, Module Pool Programming, Enhancements Framework
Experience in IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, OData, and API integrations
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, Fiori/UI5, and SAP Gateway is preferred
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
Experience leading technical teams and managing project deliverables
Preferred Qualifications:
B.E./B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech / Equivalent Degree
SAP ABAP Certification (preferred)
Exposure to S/4HANA migration projects will be an added advantage
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Leadership ability with mentoring and team management experience
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional team environments
Strong analytical thinking and solution-oriented approach
Note: Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Nashik will be preferred.
Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
