Job Description – Unit Manager (Industrial Catering)
Position: Unit Manager
Industry: Industrial Catering / Food Services
Reporting To: Area Manager / Operations Head
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete day-to-day operations of the industrial catering unit.
- Ensure timely preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and beverages as per approved menu and quality standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, service staff, housekeeping, and store operations.
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards in kitchen and dining areas.
- Monitor consumption of LPG/PNG, ration, dairy, vegetables, and other raw materials to minimize wastage and control food cost.
- Ensure proper inventory management, stock rotation, and storage practices.
- Coordinate with purchase and vendors for timely availability of raw materials and consumables.
- Handle client coordination and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Maintain attendance, duty rosters, discipline, and productivity of manpower.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety guidelines, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare daily production reports, consumption reports, and MIS as required by management.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and report breakdowns immediately.
- Ensure smooth functioning of dining services during peak hours and special events.
- Control pilferage, wastage, and unauthorized use of company resources.
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and service quality.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in industrial catering, hospitality, or large-scale food operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of food production, hygiene, inventory, and cost control.
- Ability to handle manpower and client coordination efficiently.
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operations simultaneously.
Qualification
- Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management or relevant experience in industrial catering operations preferred.

Manesar / Gurgaon / Industrial Sites as assigned by Kaanta Foods Pvt Ltd.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
