Roles and Responsibilities Store Operations:
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to visual merchandising guidelines.
- Supervise material loading and unloading at the warehouse (godown).
- Coordinate effectively with site teams and the purchase department for material requirements.
- Audit physical stock regularly and reconcile with software records to ensure accuracy.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels to prevent overstock or stockouts, and place timely replenishment orders.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits to maintain accurate records.
- Record and manage purchase and sale transactions in the system.
- Generate delivery challans accurately and ensure proper documentation.
- Enter data for purchase, sale, material inward, and material outward stock in inventory management software.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational and sales reports to management.
- Ensure clear communication and collaboration with internal teams, including management, site personnel, and the procurement department.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in store or inventory management, preferably in a warehouse or retail environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to perform stock audits and ensure accurate documentation.
- Familiarity with generating delivery challans and managing stock movements.
