About the Role
We are looking for an experienced DFX – Design Verification (DV) Engineer to join our semiconductor team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and SoC/IP Verification with hands-on experience in debugging, verification planning, and validation across simulation, emulation, and silicon.
This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge semiconductor products while collaborating with cross-functional Design, DFT, and Validation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans using SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Perform functional verification of complex SoC/IP designs.
- Create reusable verification environments, testbenches, and test cases.
- Debug failures across simulation, emulation, and post-silicon environments.
- Collaborate closely with Design and DFT teams to improve design quality and testability.
- Analyze and validate ATPG-generated test patterns and support ATE validation.
- Perform coverage analysis and ensure verification closure.
- Support silicon bring-up, post-silicon validation, and root-cause analysis.
- Identify functional issues and drive resolutions with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–15 years of experience in Design Verification within the semiconductor industry.
- Strong expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Solid understanding of SoC/IP Verification Methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with functional verification and verification planning.
- Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience working across simulation, emulation, and silicon debug environments.
- Knowledge of ATPG, ATE, and test pattern validation.
- Experience collaborating with Design, DFT, and Validation teams.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in DFX/DFT verification environments.
- Knowledge of scan architectures and testability concepts.
- Exposure to post-silicon validation and silicon bring-up activities.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell is an added advantage.
