About the Role
Cam Tech India is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented VMC Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. With our strong background in tool and die design, sheet metal stamping, we maintain strict standards for quality and machining accuracy. We need a reliable operator to set up, run, and monitor our Vertical Machining Centers to ensure efficient production of high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor VMC machines to manufacture parts in accordance with technical drawings and production schedules.
- Job Setup: Securely load raw materials, select the correct cutting tools, and accurately establish tool and work offsets.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges) to ensure they meet exact dimensional tolerances.
- Process Optimization: Monitor the machining process in real-time, adjusting feed rates and speeds as necessary to optimize output and maximize tool life.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform daily routine maintenance on the equipment and strictly adhere to all workplace safety protocols.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of practical, hands-on experience operating VMC machines.
- Shift Flexibility: Must be willing and able to work rotational shifts to support continuous production.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of M-codes and G-codes, along with familiarity with standard machine controller Fanuc.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to accurately read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings and basic GD&T specifications.
- Education: An ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Machinist, or Fitter trades is highly preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
