Job Description – Junior Quantity Surveyor
Position: Junior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Kozhikode, Kerala
Company: Deira Interio
Experience: 0–1 Years
Salary: ₹20000 – ₹30000 per month (Based on Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quantity take-offs and material estimates from drawings.
- Assist in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates.
- Verify site measurements and quantities executed.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and suppliers.
- Prepare material requisitions and purchase comparisons.
- Track project costs and assist in budget control.
- Prepare subcontractor bills and client billing documents.
- Maintain project documentation and quantity records.
- Support tendering and quotation preparation activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Basic knowledge of quantity surveying and estimation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of interior fit-out and construction works is an advantage.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
