Position Overview:
Everhome Café is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resource Manager to join our dynamic team. The Senior Human Resource Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the HR Manager in overseeing all aspects of human resources management, with a specific focus on the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in hospitality HR and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing: Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and conduct interviews. Ensure compliance with all hiring procedures and regulations.
- Training and Development: Implement comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Coordinate with department heads to identify training needs and facilitate relevant workshops and seminars.
- Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms. Provide guidance to managers on addressing performance issues and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances. Foster positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations. Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect changes in legislation and industry best practices.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Communicate benefits information to employees and facilitate enrollment and changes as needed.
- HR Administration: Oversee day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including record-keeping, payroll processing, and employee data management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR databases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of four years of experience in human resources management, with a focus on the hospitality sector.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
