Job Summary
G.A.V. International School, Sector 89, is seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced PGT English Teacher to teach Senior Secondary classes (XI & XII). The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to inspire students while preparing them for CBSE examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to Classes XI & XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare engaging lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Assess students through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in school events, PTMs, and academic activities.
- Keep accurate records of student progress and performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's Degree in English (M.A. English).
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and digital teaching tools.
