Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized Placement Coordinator to manage campus placement activities, build strong relationships with employers, and support students in securing internship and employment opportunities. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, coordination, and networking skills.
Key Responsibilities
1) Employer & Industry Relations
* Develop and maintain relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry professionals.
* Identify potential employers for campus recruitment drives.
* Coordinate with HR teams regarding job openings, internships, and placement requirements.
* Organize employer visits, recruitment drives, and networking events.
2) Placement Activities
* Plan and execute campus placement programs.
* Schedule interviews, aptitude tests, group discussions, and recruitment events.
* Ensure smooth coordination between recruiters and students during placement processes.
* Track placement opportunities and maintain placement records.
3) Student Support
* Guide students on career opportunities and placement procedures.
* Assist students in resume preparation and profile building.
* Coordinate employability training programs, mock interviews, and soft skills sessions.
* Provide placement-related updates and communicate job opportunities to students.
4) Data Management & Reporting
* Maintain accurate student placement databases.
* Prepare placement reports and analyze placement statistics.
* Track student participation and placement outcomes.
* Ensure all placement documentation is properly maintained.
5) Coordination & Administration
* Work closely with academic departments regarding placement activities.
* Organize career fairs, industry interaction sessions, and guest lectures.
* Handle placement-related queries from students and recruiters.
* Ensure compliance with institutional placement policies and procedures.
