Job Summary:
We are hiring reliable, addiction-free, in-house security guards to ensure the 24/7 safety and integrity of our site. This is a residential-style position where two guards will always be on-site, sharing responsibilities. Only one guard is permitted to leave the premises at any given time. Free on-site accommodation is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- 24/7 Site Coverage: Work in tandem with the second guard to ensure the property is never left unattended.
- Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points, verify the identity of visitors, and prevent unauthorized personnel from entering the site.
- Property Patrols: Conduct regular, documented foot patrols of the perimeter and interior areas to detect and deter suspicious activities, theft, or vandalism.
- Shift Rotation & The "Buddy System": Coordinate with your co-worker so that one guard is continuously alert and on duty while the other is on break, asleep, or running personal errands off-site.
- Emergency Response: Act as the first point of contact for any security breach, medical emergency, or fire hazard. Know and execute standard site evacuation procedures.
- Surveillance: Monitor on-site CCTV systems (if applicable) and report any technical failures or hazards immediately.
- Logbook Management: Maintain a daily, highly accurate logbook of all occurrences, visitors, and shift handovers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Addiction-Free: Strictly zero-tolerance policy for tobacco, alcohol, and narcotic consumption on or off duty.
- Reliability: Must be highly dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods and complete regular physical patrols.
- Experience: Previous security experience is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate demonstrates high integrity.
