Job Description: Business Development Executive (BDE)
Industry: Waste Management & Water Treatment (STP/ETP/WTP/RO and related)
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business
opportunities, generating leads, and driving revenue growth in the waste management and
water treatment sector. The role involves managing the complete sales cycle—from prospecting
to closure—while building strong client relationships and expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in STP, ETP, WTP, and waste
management solutions
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients (industries, builders, consultants,
etc.)
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, site visits, and digital platforms
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects
2. Sales & Client Acquisition
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable technical solutions
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and cost estimates
- Negotiate terms and close deals to achieve sales targets
3. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
- Follow up regularly to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Handle client queries and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution
4. Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with technical and project teams for solution design and execution
- Update and maintain accurate data in CRM systems
- Track sales progress, prepare reports, and provide regular updates to management
- Ensure proper handover of projects to execution teams
5. Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, trade shows, and seminars
- Represent the company professionally in meetings and industry events
- Promote company services and maintain brand positioning in the market

- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Basic technical understanding of water/waste treatment systems (preferred)
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Science / Business Administration (preferred)
- 1–5 years of experience in sales/business development (preferably in STP/ETP/WTP or
related industry)
- Freshers with strong sales aptitude can also be considered

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
