As a Network Cloud Engineer, you'll play an integral role in building a holistic view and roadmap of the company's technology strategy and processes. You will partner with internal technology groups to ensure that proposed technical solutions align with the company's overall objectives. You'll also serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, internal innovation teams, and IT functional areas by helping them identify and take advantage of new digital opportunities while providing guidance and ensuring solutions align with the business and IT strategy.
Job Responsibilities of a Cloud Network Engineer
Cloud network engineers specialize in migrating functions and networks to private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures. In doing so, they give organizations the freedom and flexibility to maximize their flexibility and productivity.

Design, plan and implement client-specific cloud solutions

Ensuring the cloud network is responsive to user demands

Scaling cloud services to serve growing businesses

Troubleshooting issues which arise
-
Liaising with business owners and/or stakeholders to determine growth plans

Monitoring usage of cloud network
-
Implementing effective security strategies on cloud networks
-
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines
-
Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
-
Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
-
Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
-
Arranging scheduled upgrades
-
Investigating faults in the network
-
Updating network appliances virtual or physical to the latest firmware releases
Requirements
-
Minimum 7 years of experience in implementing and maintaining virtualized systems and networks
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in supporting Azure Cloud based PaaS services environments
-
Experience in providing support for complex Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Container Instance (ACI), Key Vaults,
- Azure Cloud resource group/resources management, including Virtual Networks, Subnets, Security lists/groups and virtual hypervisor firewalls administration.

Deploying Cloud resources.

Some off hour-work and travel may be involved

IPSEC VPN creation

Express Route setup and maintenance.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $80,000 to $104,000
