Job Description
The Equity Dealer is responsible for executing client orders in equity and derivative markets, providing timely market information, and supporting clients in investment decisions. The role requires monitoring live market movements, placing trades accurately, maintaining compliance with exchange regulations, and ensuring high service standards while managing risk and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute buy/sell orders for clients in Equity, F&O, and other permitted segments.
- Provide live market updates, trading support, and basic stock ideas to clients.
- Operate trading terminals (NSE/BSE) and ensure accurate order punching.
- Monitor client positions, margins, and MTM (mark-to-market) obligations.
- Inform clients regarding margin shortfall, risk exposure, and square-off situations.
- Coordinate with back office for trade confirmation, settlement, and discrepancy resolution.
- Maintain client records, dealing logs, and communication history.
- Ensure adherence to SEBI and exchange compliance norms.
- Build and maintain relationships with trading clients and support RMs.
- Maintain proper attendance, shift discipline, and desk availability during market hours.
- Share attendance status, punctuality, and work behavior feedback with the reporting manager/HR when required.
Requirements
- Graduate in Commerce/Finance/Economics or related field.
- 1–4 years of experience as Equity/Share Market Dealer in a Broking/Wealth Management firm.
- Mandatory: NISM Series VIII – Equity Derivatives Certification (or as per company compliance requirement).
- Good knowledge of stock market operations, margin rules, and trading platforms (ODIN/NEST/NEAT/other terminals).
- Strong understanding of Equity cash and F&O segments.
- Ability to work during market hours and handle pressure in a live trading environment.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Basic MS Excel and reporting knowledge.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
