Job Title: Director – Quality Assurance
We are looking for a seasoned Director – Quality Assurance to lead and scale the QA function across embedded systems, communication platforms, backend services, and web/mobile/desktop applications. This role will be responsible for defining QA strategy, driving automation excellence, and ensuring high-quality product delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, deep technical expertise aand the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement end-to-end QA strategy across multiple domains including embedded systems, communication systems, backend services, and applications
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to establish comprehensive test strategies and plans
Review technical designs to ensure complete and effective test coverage
Design and lead the development of scalable automation frameworks
Drive automation initiatives using tools such as Selenium and modern testing practices
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Establish and enforce QA processes, quality gates, and release criteria
Oversee product validation, testing, and certification processes
Ensure adherence to ISO/IEC/IEEE standards and industry best practices
Maintain clear documentation of QA strategies, frameworks, and test outcomes
Represent QA in customer engagements and external communications
Required Qualifications
12+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation
Minimum 8+ years of experience in a QA leadership role
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium
Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java
Experience in embedded systems and communication systems testing
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience:
- Quality Assurance: 10 years (Preferred)
