Job Title : Government Account Manager

Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive business growth in government healthcare institutions (hospitals, medical colleges, PHCs/CHCs, etc.)
- Manage end-to-end government sales cycle, including tenders, GeM, and order execution
- Build and maintain relationships with government officials, hospital administrators, and purchase heads
- Onboard and manage dealers, distributors, and liaison partners
- Ensure payment collection and maintain strong account hygiene
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and close deals with government entities
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Track procurement processes, market trends, and competitor activity
Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related field
- Experience in government / institutional healthcare sales
- Strong knowledge of tendering, GeM portal, and procurement systems
- Experience in dealer / distributor and channel partner management
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Experience in government account handling and payment collection
- Self-driven with ability to manage territory independently
- Willingness to travel across assigned regions
