QA Automation Engineer (Appium) – Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in mobile application testing using Appium. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications to ensure product quality and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for mobile applications
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Appium
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Automate test cases for Android and iOS platforms
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Execute API testing using Postman or Rest Assured
- Maintain test reports and automation dashboards
- Perform cross-device and cross-platform mobile testing
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Mobile Automation Testing
- Hands-on experience with Appium
- Knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Understanding of Android and iOS mobile platforms
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or BDD frameworks
- Familiarity with Maven/Gradle and Git
- Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies
- API testing knowledge (REST APIs)
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
Good to Have:
- Experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- SQL/database validation skills
- Exposure to performance or accessibility testing
- Experience with Espresso or XCUITest
Pay: ₹256,528.17 - ₹350,000.00 per year
