We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Android Developer with 6 months of internship experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Android application development, Kotlin/Java, and the Android ecosystem, along with a willingness to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Work with Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack, and modern Android development tools.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services into Android applications.
- Implement Google Maps and location-based services.
- Work with maps, markers, routes, location tracking, and related features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Debug issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other team members.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Test applications and ensure a smooth user experience.
Requirements
- 6 months of internship experience in Android development or a related role.
- Good knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
- Familiarity with Android Studio and Android SDK.
- Understanding of Android UI development and XML layouts.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and networking.
- Knowledge of Google Maps SDK and location services.
- Understanding of Git and version control.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
