Job Title: Agronomist
Job Summary:
The Agronomist is responsible for monitoring, and improving vegetable crop production in farm area. This role involves working closely with farmers, field stafi and production teams to ensure high yields, quality produce, and the adoption of best agricultural practices as per APEDA & USFDA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide technical guidance on vegetable crop production and management.
- Monitor crop growth and identiff issues related to pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental stress.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor crop health and provide recommendations .
- Collect and analyze field data, including yield, quality, and pest incidence
- Support contract farming programs and maintain relationships with growers.
- Ensure comptiance with food safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, quality, and sales teams.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain field records.
- Compliance with quality and food salety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
- 0-5 years ofexperience in vegetable crop production (or as required by the company).
- Knowledge ofvegetable cultivation, crop protection, soil fertility, irrigation, and integrated pest management (lPM).
- Ability to interpret field data and recommend practical solutions.

- Decision-making under field conditions.
Working Conditions
- Extensive field visits to farms and production sites.
- Travel to farmer locations and demonstration plots.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
