In the current market—especially for firms engaging with government portals like GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and CPPP—this role has evolved from simple "form-filling" to a specialized function often titled Tender Executive or Bid Manager.
## Core Job Responsibilities
- Tender Identification: Actively searching and tracking relevant tenders on portals (GeM, CPPP, state e-procurement sites) and newspapers.
- Bid Preparation: Creating comprehensive technical and commercial bids. This includes drafting self-declarations, compliance letters, and authorization documents.
- Documentation Management: Organizing critical company documents such as ISO certifications, financial statements, and past performance reports (Experience Certificates).
- Portal Operations: Hands-on management of the GeM portal, including product cataloging, participating in Reverse Auctions (RA), and handling "Custom Bids" or "BOQ Bids."
- Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinating with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for authorization letters (MAF) and internal departments (Finance/Legal) for EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) and Bank Guarantees.
- Post-Bid Follow-up: Tracking bid status, replying to technical clarifications (TQs), and participating in pre-bid or post-bid meetings.
Pay: ₹15,614.54 - ₹30,919.57 per month
