Job Purpose:
To plan food and nutrition programs, supervise the preparation of and serving of meals, prevent and treat illness by promoting healthy eating habits & suggesting diet modifications.
Job Responsibilities:
Daily Activity:
- OUT PATIENT
- Counseling of patients-walk-ins’ by appointments
- Handover of structured diet plan as per patient’s medical condition
- Checking on mails from patients and replying to them
- INPATIENT
- Tracking the midnight admissions and updating the patient list
- First level interaction with newly admitted patients to take their preferences and give brief – up of the Cafeteria food services extended to patients
- Counseling the inpatients on day two of their admission after the delivery
- Hand over of pamphlets related to nutrition during lactation
- Co-ordination of diet orders with the cafeteria for patients as per doctor’s orders
- Placing orders for goodies for SIGNATURE AND SUITE ROOM PATIENTS ensuring that they are treated specially by accommodating a few extra orders
- Regular inputs and supervising work done by assistant dieticians.
- CAFETERIA
- Tasting the patient food and getting changes done
- Supervising the cleanliness-check on food counters, steward service, periodical cleaning of all the equipments used on daily basis
- Regular check on daily purchases made, daily wastage etc.,
- Taking inputs and corrective changes as advised by any of the directors regarding the maintenance of cafeteria by way of cleanliness , hygiene standards etc.,
WEEKLY ACTIVITY
- Keeping different nutrition material ready for handover during the Out patient counseling
- INPATIENT
- Follow up of corrective changes made in any aspect of patient service based on feedbacks given by already discharged patients
- CAFETERIA
- Checking on purchases – especially patient crockery
- Signing on Purchases bill made
- Checking on pest control services, Fumigation, other cleaning taken up in kitchen, stores etc.,
- Weekly updations of roster of the cafeteria staff
- Follow up of menu-for staff and attenders based on seasonal changes in availability of vegetables, fruits etc.,
MONTHLY ACTIVITY
- INPATIENT:
- Checks on the bills from Au Bon Pain of the purchases made and submission of bills
- CAFETERIA:
- Checks on the monthly consolidation of purchase bills and check on the credit bills
- Plan of special menu accommodated for MBA programme or sponsored scientific meetings according to the numbers expected
- Accommodating any special food orders from Staff or Doctors on specified date time and numbers.
Pay: ₹12,719.17 - ₹40,887.12 per month
