Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled MDS Pediatric Dentist (Pedodontist) to provide specialized dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and children with special healthcare needs. The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a child-friendly approach to ensure a positive dental experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat oral and dental conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
- Perform preventive dental procedures such as oral examinations, fluoride applications, sealants, and routine cleanings.
- Carry out restorative treatments including fillings, pulp therapy, stainless steel crowns, and extractions when required.
- Manage dental emergencies in pediatric patients.
- Assess growth and development of teeth and jaws and identify developing orthodontic issues.
- Educate parents and caregivers on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive dental care.
- Use effective behavior management techniques to ensure children are comfortable during treatment.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and clinical quality standards.
- Collaborate with orthodontists, oral surgeons, anesthetists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care when necessary.
Eligibility
- MDS in Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry (Pediatric Dentistry) from a recognized institution.
- Valid Dental Council of India (DCI) and State Dental Council registration.
- Freshers are welcome to apply; experienced candidates are also encouraged.
