CUSTOMER SERVICE HAZ - ASSITANT MANAGER
We are searching for an experienced CUSTOMER SERVICE HAZ - ASSITANT MANAGER at our MSC India - Mumbai facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure all HAZ requests are checked for veracity of its documents, products specified correctly with correct
chemical name, IMDG details, MSDS, Emergency Contacts provided are correct.
- Ensure, once mandatory parameters are received, apply for the desired approvals from concerned authorities,
via MSC D MAX system and, with Vessel Stowage Planner for desired approvals and acceptances.
- The appropriate HAZ Approval Number, are provided to the Sales/CSU/Customer for placement of Booking.
- Ensure all relevant documents, duly signed + endorsed by the Exporter/Shipper
- Ensure cargo tendered into the terminal for the Booked Vessel/Voyage within specified Gate C/Offs and
relevant documentation submissions by the stipulated HAZ DOC C/Off timelines. Any amends to
cargo/commodity/ changes to Vsl/Voy etc. MUST be advised to Liners well ahead of ETB of booked Vessel
- Ensure Prompt follow-up with Central DG Desk in ANR for seeking desired DG approvals
- Ensure 100 pct phone calls are answered immediately, and swiftly. Communications must be kept to minimum
All email communications MUST be responded well within time of receipt of email, during office hours.
- Ensure to cross check reports generated from D-MAX with OPS Inyard report to verify all approvals are in
place of INYARD containers with HAZ correct details
- Ensure regular and prompt follow-up for relevant DOC Submissions as per agreed timeframes.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as and when requested by your team leader
Required Qualifications
Minimum bachelor’s degree / University graduated preferably Science graduate
Have Experience of DG cargo handling is preferable
