Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, organized, and reliable Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our construction/project sites. In this role, you will be responsible for managing on-site personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, monitoring project timelines, and maintaining high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, a natural leader, and highly adept at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Oversight: Supervise daily on-site operations, including coordinating subcontractors, managing laborers, and ensuring all work aligns with blueprints and specifications.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company regulations to maintain a zero-incident workspace.
- Schedule Management: Monitor project timelines and milestones, proactively identifying and resolving potential delays to keep the project on track.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations.
- Material & Equipment Tracking: Oversee the delivery, storage, and utilization of construction materials and equipment on site.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports, communicating updates regularly to the Project Manager.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any on-site disputes, challenges, or technical issues swiftly and professionally.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 0-1 years of experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreperson, or a similar supervisory role in the construction industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction procedures, materials, equipment, and reading blueprints/technical drawings.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred) or valid safety certifications. First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage, motivate, and lead a diverse team of workers and subcontractors.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with project managers, clients, and field staff.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk on uneven terrain, and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
