About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and manage all aspects of mining operations at our project site in Pandhurna, Madhya Pradesh. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mining operations, geology, technical services, project execution, procurement, purchase management, and statutory compliance. The individual will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while achieving production and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Plan, direct, and oversee day-to-day mining operations to achieve production targets.
- Ensure smooth execution of mining activities while maintaining quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor mine development, extraction activities, equipment utilization, and workforce productivity.
- Optimize operational processes to improve output and reduce costs.
Project Management
- Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and timely completion of mining-related projects.
- Develop project schedules, resource plans, budgets, and implementation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation measures.
Geology & Technical Services
- Coordinate with geological and technical teams for exploration, reserve estimation, and mine planning.
- Review geological reports and provide technical guidance for efficient mineral extraction.
- Ensure proper implementation of mine plans and technical recommendations.
- Support drilling, blasting, excavation, and resource optimization activities.
Purchase & Procurement
- Manage procurement of mining machinery, equipment, spare parts, explosives, consumables, and other operational requirements.
- Develop procurement strategies that ensure timely availability of materials while optimizing costs.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, and contract execution.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted availability of critical materials.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Prepare and monitor project budgets and operational expenditures.
- Control project costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Review vendor performance, contracts, invoices, and payment approvals.
- Generate periodic MIS reports and management dashboards.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with mining laws, environmental regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Promote and enforce Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards across the site.
- Coordinate inspections, audits, and regulatory approvals.
- Maintain documentation required by statutory authorities.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising mining engineers, geologists, procurement personnel, contractors, and support staff.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with government authorities, consultants, local communities, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve operational challenges and ensure effective communication across departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related technical discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification in Mining, Project Management, or Business Administration (preferred).
- Relevant statutory certifications and mining competency certificates will be an added advantage.

Compensation & Benefits
- CTC: ₹24 Lakhs Per Annum
- Salary: Negotiable for exceptional candidates based on qualifications and relevant experience.
