Backend Software Engineer (Python / FastAPI) – AI Vibe Coder
Location: Remote (Preferred overlap with IST working hours)
About the Role
We're looking for a strong backend engineer who thrives in the era of AI-assisted software development.
If you've been building real products using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI coding assistants—and you know how to turn ideas into production-ready software quickly—we'd love to talk.
We're not looking for someone who simply uses AI to autocomplete code. We're looking for someone who understands how to collaborate with AI to design, build, debug, and ship complex systems efficiently.
What You'll Work On
You'll help build modern backend systems and APIs, working primarily with:
- Python
- FastAPI
- PostgreSQL
- React (nice to have)
- AWS
Our work involves designing scalable systems, integrating third-party services, solving interesting engineering challenges, and shipping products quickly.
What We're Looking ForRequired
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience building production applications with FastAPI (or similar Python frameworks)
- Experience designing APIs and backend architecture
- Solid SQL/PostgreSQL knowledge
- Experience building complete projects using AI-assisted ("vibe coding") workflows
- Ability to independently own features from design through deployment
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable learning unfamiliar technologies when needed
Preferred (Not Required)
- React or other frontend experience
- AWS experience
- System architecture or distributed systems experience
- Trading, financial markets, or algorithmic trading knowledge
- DevOps or CI/CD experience
