Semina Agro is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Manager – Marketing & Sales to lead the trade vertical. The role involves developing and executing marketing strategies for agricultural inputs such as seeds, kitchen garden kits, agri tools, and related products, along with driving the sales of farmer-produced goods under a buyback model.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong market linkages, leading the sales team, and implementing performance-driven incentive structures to maximize revenue and growth.
Key Responsibilities1. Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for:
- Seeds
- Kitchen garden seed kits
- Agricultural tools and inputs
- Identify target markets, customer segments, and distribution channels
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns (online & offline)
- Build brand positioning for Semina Agro in the agri-input and agri-output markets
2. Sales Management
- Drive sales growth across all product categories
- Establish and manage distribution networks (dealers, retailers, FPOs, etc.)
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Monitor sales performance and optimize strategies accordingly
3. Farmer Buyback & Market Linkages
- Develop and manage buyback programs for farmer produce
- Identify institutional buyers, wholesalers, and retail channels
- Ensure efficient aggregation, pricing, and sales of agricultural produce
- Build long-term partnerships for consistent offtake
4. Team Leadership & Incentive Management
- Lead, train, and manage the sales team
- Design and implement a performance-based incentive model
- Set KPIs and track individual/team performance
- Motivate the team to achieve aggressive sales targets
5. Business Development
- Explore new markets and business opportunities
- Build strategic partnerships with agri-input suppliers and buyers
- Identify trends in agriculture and adapt strategies accordingly
6. Reporting & Analytics
- Track key metrics: sales volume, revenue, margins, and customer acquisition
- Prepare regular MIS reports for management
- Use data-driven insights to improve performance

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or related field
- MBA (preferred)
- 5–8 years of experience in agri-input sales/marketing or related domain
- Experience working with farmer networks, FPOs, or rural distribution systems is a plus
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
