About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and responsible ERPNext Developer with 1 year of experience to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ERPNext and the Frappe Framework, be comfortable handling multiple projects independently, and take full ownership of assigned work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain ERPNext applications and modules.
- Configure ERPNext workflows, roles, permissions, and reports as per business requirements.
- Integrate ERPNext with third-party applications and APIs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure smooth functionality.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Handle ERPNext upgrades, patches, and migrations when required.
- Maintain proper documentation for custom developments and workflows.
- Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Provide post-deployment support and ongoing system improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with ERPNext and the Frappe Framework.
- Strong knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and MariaDB/MySQL.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and jQuery for front-end customizations.
- Good understanding of ERP workflows and business processes.
- Experience working with REST APIs and web services.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Hands-on experience with Git version control (push, pull, branching, and basic merge handling).
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and managing priorities effectively.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for completing projects end-to-end.
- Open to learning and adapting to new tools, technologies, and project requirements.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proactive approach toward identifying issues and proposing solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience deploying ERPNext on cloud platforms such as AWS or Digital Ocean.
- Knowledge of Git workflows and best coding practices.
- Exposure to ERPNext modules like Manufacturing, Inventory, Accounting, or HR.
- Experience in production support and system optimization.
