Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP & API Integration Developer with hands-on experience in S/4HANA, API-first development, and SAP BTP integration patterns. The candidate will design and build scalable OData APIs, RAP-based services, and modern integration artifacts enabling seamless connectivity between SAP and enterprise platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, ServiceNow, Salesforce).
This role requires strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, SAP Gateway, CDS, RAP, and API lifecycle management, with a focus on performance, scalability, and clean-core principles.
Required Skills & Experience

4–6 years of SAP ABAP development experience, including S/4HANA exposure

Strong expertise in:

ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, performance optimization)

SAP Gateway & OData service development

RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)

Solid understanding of:

API design principles (REST, JSON, OAuth, API lifecycle)

Integration patterns (real-time, batch, event-driven)

Experience with:

Enhancements (BADIs, Exits), BAPIs, RFCs

End-to-end API development and consumption

Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills

Design and develop OData V2/V4 services using SAP Gateway, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)

Build reusable, scalable APIs aligned with API-first and clean core principles

Develop integration artifacts enabling SAP connectivity with middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite)

ABAP on HANA Development

Develop optimized solutions using CDS Views, AMDP, ABAP OO, and HANA pushdown techniques

Build and enhance RAP-based business objects and services

Work on enhancements (BADIs, User Exits), BAPIs, RFCs, and custom frameworks

Modern SAP Development (BTP & CAP)

Exposure to or hands-on experience with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) for side-by-side extensions

Translate business requirements into scalable integration and API solutions
