Role Description We are seeking a GeM Portal Specialist for a full-time, on-site position based in Vapi,Gujarat. The role involves managing and overseeing all operations related to the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, including catalogue upload, order fulfillments, L1 comparison, order tracking, payment follow ups and online bids. The specialist will ensure compliance with government procurement processes, and resolve any portal-related issues. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate records, liaising with stakeholders, and updating relevant data on the platform.
Qualifications
- Min 3-5 years experience on GeM portal
- Expertise in Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal operations including catalogue upload, L1 comparison with high skills, order placement, and bid management processes. Min 3-5 years experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, government policies, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in data entry, record-keeping, and ensuring data accuracy
- Ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersBachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field is preferred
- Basic IT proficiency with experience in web-based administrative tools
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Prior experience in government tendering or procurement
