We are looking for a skilled VTL Operator with 1 to 2 years of experience in operating Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines. The candidate should have knowledge of machining processes, machine setup, tool handling, and quality checking.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and handle VTL machines efficiently
- Perform machine setup and tool setting as per production requirements
- Read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints
- Monitor machining operations and maintain quality standards
- Check dimensions using measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and gauges
- Load and unload raw materials/components safely
- Ensure production targets are achieved on time
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures
- Identify basic machine issues and inform maintenance team when required
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or relevant field
- 1 to 2 years of experience as VTL Operator
- Basic knowledge of machining and production processes
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of measuring instruments
- Good teamwork and discipline
