Job Description – QC Finishing
Job Title: Quality Controller (QC) – Finishing
Department: Quality Assurance / Finishing
Reports To: QA Manager / Finishing Manager
Location: Garments Manufacturing Unit
Job Purpose
To ensure all finished garments meet buyer specifications, company quality standards, and shipment requirements before packing and dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect finished garments as per AQL and buyer quality standards.
- Check garment measurements, appearance, workmanship, stitching, pressing, trimming, and finishing quality.
- Verify shade, fabric defects, stains, print, embroidery, and accessories.
- Ensure correct labels, tags, barcodes, size stickers, and packing materials are used.
- Identify defects, segregate rejected garments, and coordinate with the finishing team for rectification.
- Maintain inspection records and prepare daily quality reports.
- Ensure compliance with buyer specifications and SOPs.
- Monitor packing quality and carton assortment before shipment.
- Coordinate with Production, Finishing, and Packing departments to resolve quality issues.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualification
- Higher Secondary / Graduate (preferred).
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in garment finishing quality control.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of AQL inspection standards.
- Understanding of garment co
- nstruction and finishing processes.
- Ability to identify defects and take corrective action.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel and MS Word) is preferred.
- Teamwork and attention to detail.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
