Biomedical Engineer – Trichology & Dermatology Clinic
A Biomedical Engineer in our trichology and dermatology clinic applies engineering knowledge to support, maintain, and improve advanced aesthetic and diagnostic equipment. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performance operation of devices used in skin and hair treatments, while supporting clinical staff and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Install, calibrate, and maintain dermatology and trichology equipment such as Pico laser systems, diode lasers, RF machines, cryolipolysis machines, and skin analysis devices
Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime
Ensure safe operation of all devices in accordance with clinical and biomedical standards
Assist doctors and therapists in understanding equipment functionality and proper usage
Monitor and record equipment performance, service history, and asset maintenance logs
Conduct safety checks, electrical inspections, and performance validation of machines
Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing, spare parts, and upgrades
Support new equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning
Maintain documentation for audits and compliance requirements
Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and standards relevant to medical and aesthetic devices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field
Strong knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Basic understanding of laser technology, electronics, and safety standards
Ability to work closely with clinical teams in a healthcare environment
Good documentation and reporting skills
Preferred Experience (Optional but Advantageous)
Experience working with dermatology, aesthetic, or cosmetic medical devices
Familiarity with laser systems and RF-based equipment
Knowledge of healthcare compliance and safety protocols
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
