Responsibilities
The FPC Facilitator will be responsible for:
Providing technical and managerial support to Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs).
Conducting training and capacity building sessions on agriculture, livestock, and crop production.
Facilitating the adoption of organic farming practices and sustainable agricultural techniques.
Collaborating with farmers to improve production, farm management, and market access.
Assisting with the formulation of Agribusiness strategies and sales initiatives for farm products.
Supporting the usage and maintenance of agricultural machinery and tractor-based operations.
Monitoring and evaluating the performance of FPCs to ensure efficient resource utilization.
Acting as a liaison between FPCs and stakeholders such as government agencies, agricultural institutions, and market buyers.
Requirements
1–3 years of hands-on experience in agriculture, livestock production, crop cultivation, or agribusiness operations.
In-depth knowledge of Agricultural Sales, Organic Farming, and livestock productivity measures.
Familiarity with Agricultural Tractors and other agricultural equipment operations or their use in farming cycles.
Demonstrated ability to lead training and workshops on Agribusiness topics.
Strong understanding of Agricultural Engineering principles and their application in farm systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with farmers and stakeholders.
Adequate field visit readiness and time flexibility based on agricultural cycles.
Nice to Have (Skills)
Experience with stock farming or livestock production in large-scale operations.
Certification in Integrated Farming or Permaculture practices.
Knowledge of digital tools for agribusiness or agri-tech systems.
Experience in organizing or managing agricultural market linkages and cooperatives.
Salary
20,000 per month
Graduate in Agriculture, Rural Development, Agribusiness Management, Social Work, or any related discipline.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), livelihood projects, or rural development initiatives.
