Primespace Projects Pvt Ltd is a premier real estate development company based in Kozhikode, Kerala. We build high-quality residential and commercial spaces. We are seeking a vigilant and experienced Quality & HSE Engineer/Officer to maintain our strict quality and safety standards on-site.
Job Purpose
You will be responsible for enforcing strict material quality control (QC) and implementing robust Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols across our construction project sites.
Key Responsibilities
· Quality Audits: Inspect construction materials, concrete mixing, structural works, and finishing for quality assurance.
· Lab Testing: Conduct, monitor, and record mandatory site tests (cube tests, silt tests, etc.) and maintain QC registers.
· Safety Enforcement: Implement HSE policies, conduct daily tool-box talks, and ensure 100% usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
· Hazard Inspection: Identify site hazards, conduct risk assessments, and take immediate corrective actions to prevent accidents.
· Documentation: Prepare daily/weekly QC and safety reports, incident logs, and non-conformance reports (NCR).
· Training: Educate site workers and contractors on safe work practices and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
· Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering. Certification in HSE (NEBOSH, IOSH, or Diploma in Industrial Safety) is highly preferred.
· Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience handling QC and Safety roles in high-rise residential or commercial building projects.
· Technical Skills: Deep understanding of IS codes, concrete technology, finishing standards, and Indian construction safety laws.
· Soft Skills: Strict enforcement capability, sharp attention to detail, and fluency in Malayalam and English.
