PG – M.A. English Doctorate preferred but not mandatory Internationally recognized English language assessment certifications such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic, Cambridge English Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Identify training gaps by assessing corporate requirements and ensure that the gaps are bridged.
Train students on the importance of verbal communication and its impact on personality and attitude.
Plan and prepare training content to bring out the best in students and make sessions a lively learning experience.
Develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in students, taking placement requirements into consideration.
Encourage and motivate students to communicate fluently and confidently.
Enable students to become competent to attend examinations for higher studies, such as CAT and GRE.
Conduct exams regularly and provide immediate feedback to help students assess their progress, identify areas of improvement, and overcome their flaws.
Impart training based on industry requirements, thereby equipping students to face placement tests.
Provide training in special skills such as Public Speaking, which plays an important role in the overall personality development of students.
Actively participate in and contribute to the special training drives organized by CIR for the benefit of Amrita students.
Stay updated with university-related accreditation requirements under the purview of CIR Learning and Development activities and maintain appropriate documentation.
Contribute to periodic curriculum revisions in Verbal and Communication Skills based on current industry requirements.
Update students’ knowledge by making the latest question papers and reference materials readily available.
Create question banks.
Offer company-specific and placement-oriented training.
