Video Editor (Cricket)
We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor with strong cricket knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to create engaging, high-quality cricket videos, highlights, reels, shorts, match previews, player analysis, and social media content. If you love cricket and have excellent video editing skills, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit cricket-related videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Create engaging match highlights, player compilations, match previews, and post-match analysis videos.
- Produce YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short-form cricket content.
- Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, score overlays, sound effects, and background music.
- Design visually appealing thumbnails (preferred).
- Stay updated with live cricket matches, tournaments, player performances, and cricket trends.
- Deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines, especially during live matches and tournaments.
- Work closely with the content, graphics, and social media teams.
- Maintain consistency in video quality and brand identity.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of international and domestic cricket.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good knowledge of After Effects for animations and motion graphics.
- Experience with Photoshop or Canva for thumbnails (preferred).
- Understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, and sound design.
- Ability to edit both long-form and short-form videos.
- Knowledge of social media video formats and trends.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in video editing (Freshers with an impressive portfolio are welcome).
- Experience editing sports or cricket-related content is highly preferred.
- Basic understanding of YouTube SEO and audience engagement is a plus.
