Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality software projects on time and within scope. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, a strategic thinker, and a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, initiate, and manage end-to-end software delivery projects.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams (development, QA, design, BA) to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Conduct regular project reviews, status meetings, and stakeholder updates.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditure, and ensure cost efficiency.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, RAID logs, and reports.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to PMO best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 4–6 years of proven experience in project management in a software/IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies — Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Trello, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience in risk management, change management, and issue resolution.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification is a strong advantage.
- Experience managing client-facing projects or enterprise software implementations.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA processes.
- Exposure to cloud-based platforms, SaaS products, or digital transformation projects.
- Experience with resource planning and capacity management tools.
