Job Description – Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Position: Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon – OPD
Reporting To: Dr. Balaraju Naidu, Managing Director & Senior Orthopaedic Consultant

Role Objective
To assist Dr. Balaraju Naidu in managing Orthopaedic OPD patients, ensuring efficient clinical evaluation, diagnosis, counselling and follow-up while supporting the overall patient conversion and treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Dr. Balaraju Naidu in Orthopaedic OPD consultations and patient evaluation.
- Take detailed patient history, perform clinical examination and review investigations/imaging.
- Assist in identifying patients requiring surgical, procedural or conservative treatment.
- Explain diagnosis, treatment options, expected outcomes and next steps to patients and attendants.
- Support pre-operative counselling and treatment planning under the guidance of the senior consultant.
- Ensure appropriate documentation of diagnosis, treatment plan and follow-up in the HIMS/EMR.
- Coordinate with radiology, physiotherapy, nursing and other departments for seamless patient care.
- Conduct follow-up consultations and monitor patient progress.
- Identify patients who are not immediately ready for surgery/procedure and ensure appropriate follow-up and counselling.
- Assist in maintaining a structured patient-to-procedure/IP conversion pipeline without compromising clinical ethics or patient choice.
- Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews and surgical planning with Dr. Balaraju Naidu.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, communication and professionalism.

- Sports injuries
- Trauma and fractures
- Shoulder and knee disorders
- Spine and other common Orthopaedic conditions
- Conservative and interventional Orthopaedic management
Qualifications & Experience
- MBBS + MS/DNB/D.Ortho in Orthopaedics
- Valid medical registration.
- 2–5 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Experience in a busy Orthopaedic OPD/hospital setup will be an advantage.

A clinically strong, patient-centric and well-communicating Orthopaedic Surgeon who can work closely with Dr. Balaraju Naidu, independently manage routine OPD responsibilities and ensure that every appropriate patient receives clear clinical advice, counselling and structured follow-up.
Pay: From ₹80,000.00 per month
