POSITION:- STEEL FABRICATORS
Job description:-
Worked as a Steel Fabricator with 1-3 years of experience, your role will involve ensuring the proper Fabrication of work as per Drawing and upkeep of the Machines. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on the Machines to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Planning of fabrication activities as per the production schedule.
- Co-Ordinate work with operators, welders, fitters, and fabrication teams to achieve daily targets.
- Interpret engineering drawings and ensure fabrication is carried out as per specifications.
- Monitor welding, cutting, machining, assembly, and finishing operations to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure optimum utilization of machines, tools, and materials.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
- Monitor production progress and ensure on-time completion of jobs.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and good housekeeping practices on the shop floor.
- Minimize material wastage, rework, and production downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Qualifications
- ITI/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing company (mandatory).
- Experience in Sheet metal fabrication, process equipment, or industrial machinery manufacturing is preferred.
