Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, modern web frameworks, RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while following best coding practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Develop web applications using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform debugging.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and Python best practices.
Required Skills
- 4–5 years of professional Python development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Understanding of Redis, Celery, RabbitMQ, or Kafka is preferred.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as PyTest or Unittest.
