We are looking for a Linux Support Engineer responsible for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Linux servers and related infrastructure. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Linux administration, server maintenance, and user support.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Monitoring server health, performance, and availability.
- Troubleshooting Linux OS, application, and server-related issues.
- User account creation, permission management, and access control.
- Managing file systems, storage, and backup operations.
- Installation and configuration of software packages and services.
- Basic network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SSH).
- Server patching, updates, and security hardening.
- Monitoring logs and resolving system alerts.
- Coordinating with application, network, and infrastructure teams.
- Maintaining system documentation and operational reports.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux Administration.
- Experience with RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar Linux distributions.
- Knowledge of Shell Scripting.
- Basic understanding of Networking concepts.
- Experience with SSH, SCP, SFTP, and system monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of server backup and recovery procedures.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with VMware/Virtualization.
- Knowledge of Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, or other Linux-based services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 Years of Linux Administration/Support Experience.
- Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in IT/Computer Science.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
