Job Summary
ACETECH is seeking a skilled and motivated Production & Design Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in fabrication, production drawing preparation, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD and capable of coordinating between design and production teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review production drawings, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings.
- Develop 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure drawings are accurately executed.
- Support fabrication activities involving laser cutting, bending, rolling, and heavy fabrication.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and manufacturing documentation.
- Monitor production progress and resolve design-related issues on the shop floor.
- Ensure compliance with quality and engineering standards.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in preparing fabrication and production drawings.
- Understanding of sheet metal and structural fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with laser cutting, bending, and fabrication processes is preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in production and design engineering.
- Experience in fabrication, sheet metal, or heavy engineering industries preferred.
