Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Sales Intern to help expand MGRID’s dealer and customer network. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys talking to people, building relationships, and learning B2B sales in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate leads for distributors, dealers, retailers, and industrial customers.
- Reach out to prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.
- Schedule product demonstrations and sales meetings.
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline in spreadsheets or CRM.
- Follow up with existing leads and convert inquiries into customers.
- Conduct market research on competitors and pricing.
- Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to support campaigns and promotions.
- Prepare weekly sales reports and activity updates.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Confident in speaking with customers over calls and messages.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and target-oriented.
- Prior sales or marketing internship experience is a plus but not required.
