Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and skilled Interior Designer to design attractive, functional, and comfortable interior spaces. The ideal candidate should have experience in space planning, interior design, project coordination, and site supervision. You will work closely with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams to deliver high-quality interior projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Client Consultation & Design Planning
- Meet clients to understand their design requirements, budget, and style preferences.
- Develop interior design concepts and space planning solutions.
- Prepare mood boards, layout plans, and design presentations.
Design Development
- Create 2D drawings and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software.
- Prepare detailed design drawings and project specifications.
- Recommend suitable materials, furniture, lighting, color schemes, and interior finishes.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Assist in material selection, sourcing, and quotation collection.
- Maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders.
Site Supervision & Execution
- Visit project sites to monitor work progress and design implementation.
- Supervise installations and resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure projects are completed according to approved designs and quality standards.
Project Management
- Prepare project schedules, cost estimates, and material requirements.
- Manage multiple interior design projects simultaneously.
- Track project budgets and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure designs comply with building regulations, safety standards, and accessibility requirements.
- Maintain high standards of design quality and project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in Interior Design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, and design software.
- Strong knowledge of space planning, furniture, materials, lighting, and interior finishes.
- Excellent communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
